A big thank you to the team at the Andrew Simpson Centre Portsmouth for their continuing support of the Gosport Marine Festival in 2023. They will be providing for the over 12s on Haslar Marina three “Day Boats”, one safety boat , the staff to operate the vessels and all the buoyancy aids required.
On the Cockle Pond in Walpole Park, for the under 12s they will provide six paddle boards and six canoes plus buoyancy aids. Two members of staff will also be provided.
The Andrew Simpson Foundation (ASF) was inspired by Olympic Gold and Silver medallist Andrew ‘Bart’ Simpson MBE. Our mission is to transform lives through sailing.
Absolutely everything we do is driven by our belief that all young people have the ability to excel and succeed in life and work. We believe that the challenges of sailing and watersports do this by promoting health and well-being whilst also building essential life skills. These skills then enable young people to progress through education and into work.
Bookings for these free on the water sessions will be required. Sessions will be opened for booking in April.
